Background Information from Video:
According to Merriam Webster, Global warming is defined as "An increase in the earth's atmospheric and oceanic temperatures widely predicted to occur due to an increase in the greenhouse effect resulting especially from pollution" (2015). Today the topic is widely debated and is argued whether to be true or not. People who believe that it is true use scientific evidence and graphs such as this one from NASA to try and prove their point valid (NASA). While 70% of people (Cimons, 2015) and 99.5% of scientists believe that climate change (Hollingsworth, 2015) exists, there are a handful of people who disagree. People who don't believe in global warming use facts such as "arctic ice being up by 50% since 2012" and claim that there hasn't been any change in temperature since 1997 to make their point (Hawkins, 2014). So if both sides have valid points, then what went wrong? That is what we are going to find out.
